New York State Workers' Compensation is extremely complicated and the practice of Workers' Compensation Law requires Attorneys with experience, an excellent knowledge of the law and most importantly the ability to "step back" and see the big picture. All of our Attorneys have handled thousands of Compensation hearings and continue to attend hearings on a daily basis. Our office has authorization to access Workers' Compensation Claims at the Workers' Compensation Board directly by computer from our office.

Social Security Disability is Federal Law, as opposed to New York State Workers' Compensation which is State Law. This requires detailed knowledge of a different systematic approach to the representation of clients and all of our Attorneys have great experience in this field and attend and give seminars on Social Security Law in order to stay abreast of recent changes. Often clients will have both Compensation and SSD claims and the ability to handle both claims as they interact is important in providing good representation.

Our Attorneys represent Claimants only. We represent no insurance carriers, though we have been asked to do so. Our thinking, our allegiance, our dedication is to the injured worker, the disabled worker, and unlike other firms we do not want to compromise a zealous prosecution of these claims with any possible conflicts.

Our Attorneys take phone calls, respond to inquires and involve the Claimant in the prosecution of the claim, whether it is in State Court or Federal Court. The client should be, needs to be involved in each step of the process.
